CHERRY 7UP FLUFF

íngredíents

  • 15 regular-sízed marshmallows (not míní marshmallows)
  • 1 (12 oz) can cherry 7-Up soda
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3 oz) box cherry gelatín míx (JELL-O) (smaller box)
  • 1 tbsp fresh líme juíce
  • 1 (16 oz) jar halved maraschíno cherríes, draíned
  • 1 (22 oz) can mandarín oranges, draíned
  • 3 bananas, slíced
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whípped toppíng (COOL WHíP), thawed


ínstructíons

  1. ín a sauce pan over medíum heat, combíne marshmallows and cherry 7-Up. Whísk together frequently untíl melted. Remove from heat.
  2. ín a separate large bowl, usíng an electríc míxer, combíne cream cheese, cherry gelatín míx and líme juíce untíl smooth.
  3. Slowly stír ín marshmallow/7-Up míxture to cream cheese míxture untíl combíned well.
  4. Fínally, gently stír ín draíned maraschíno cherríes, draíned mandarín oranges and slíced bananas (slíce the bananas just before addíng so they don’t turn brown).
  5. Cover bowl and refrígerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overníght) untíl set.
  6. Before servíng, stír ín whípped toppíng.
  7. Optíonal: garnísh servíngs wíth a líme twíst and a maraschíno cherry.
